Archie ploughing on a six cylinder ferguson that i built back in 1998. It uses a Perkins 6-288 engine out of an Allis Chalmers combine harverster. Its supposed to have 70 horses kicking but i would suspect a few of them would be dead. Bonnet is 18 inches longer than standard and so is most other things in front of the gearbox. The plough is spaced out to 12 inch from the standard 10 inch. Power is not a problem but wheel grip is hence the two 80kgs weights on the back wheel centers. Check out Tractor and Machinery November 2008 as it appears in it.
